Living a healthy lifestyle is a choice but not one that comes for free. Organic food and products are often more expensive then their conventional counterparts which is why its sometimes necessary to pick and choose what you’re willing to fork over extra cash for.
Below is a list of 7 of my non-negotioables that I believe are worth the extra dollar dollar bills, ya’ll. Of course there are more but these are the main ones that I will always buy organic and natural.
It seems like this season peopleall around me have been hit hard with colds and flus.
Just last week while in the emergency room with my boyfriend the nurse mentioned that she had never seen so many cases in her history in the ER. At times they were so backed up that she wasn’t sure how they would manage to see everyone and given that so many I know and love are sick I knew this wasn’t an exaggeration.
While I didnt always have the best immune system, aside from hangovers and food poisoning, I have managed to avoid getting sick for the last seven years. It might seem like magic but its not.

As a health coach and holistic nutritionist I look at not only the nutritional element and what we are eating, but also the emotional connection to food and the beliefs and ways of being that get us stuck in food prison.
But today we are just going to be focusing on the nutritional side.
If you know that binging for you is not massively emotional, or rooted in an eating disorder then it is likely due to the way you are eating. What, when and how we eat effects our biology and trying to fight our biology is often a losing battle.
Our biology wants to keep us alive. Its our body’s job. And if you are not eating balanced meals your biology gets a little twisted.
I love lists and I quotes. I know, how basic of me but I feel like a good quote has the ability to inspire change and ignite something within us that might have been dimmed.
I recently started using pinterest, I know – soo late to the game, but I kept seeing really awesome quotes scattered through out my feed so I collected my favorite shareworthy ones about nutrition and health to kick start your weekend and hopefully provide some inspritation to keep you motivated.

Eating health is easy when you turn ” I cant have that” into “I dont want that.”
Eat fruits and vegetables like your life depended on it. Because it does.
